What I DIY'd For My Wedding

Hope you got to view my two big blog posts of all my wedding photos from Punta Cana and then also Chicago! I wanted to do a dedicated post for some of the decor I DIY'd so you can find it in one place. Enjoy!

Table Numbers

I made these acrylic table numbers with my friends cricut machine. I seriously need to get one for myself! I bought the acrylic 4x6's on amazon and then we just used gold vinyl for the cricut to come up with the numbers. I downloaded the font Memories for it- it was perfect. I did write up the numbers in Photoshop prior to just so we wouldn't have to connect each letter in Cricut. My brother then made me the wooden display but they sell those on etsy here.

Name Cards

I only made name cards for my head table but it was such a cute addition to the small details. I bought the acrylic on amazon and then also the gold holders. We had to open up the gold holders a bit so the acrlic would fit. My dad did it was a saw type machine. But I'm sure you can heat it up and try to pry it open a small bit with plyers.

The Seating Chart

The seating chart was one of my favorites that I did! I got two glass pieces from Home Depot in an 18x24 for my bridal shower and a 24x30 for the Chicago wedding. I made the table sheets inside in Photoshop but it can totally be done in word as well. I used the font Memories again for the table number and then a different font for the names. then I just printed them on my regular home printer. The thickness of the paper doesn't matter since it's in between the two pieces of glass.

I then taped the table computer paper to the back piece of glass, and then for the top glass, I wrote "Ela's Bridal Shower" in this chalk marker. (Chalk markers wipe own with water)

It was such a cheap way to elegantly display the seating. I loved it.

The Seating Glasses in Punta

The glass seating chart was something that I couldn't bring to Punta Cana so I had to get my thinking cap on. I decided to do champagne glasses (provided by resort) with a name card on it with their table number. I wrote all these out on my own and got them printed at a local printer. I just made them a 2x2 circle and had the wedding coordinators cut them on site because I had forgot to do that. You just put one slip into it and you're done. This was so quick and painless.

The Mirror

I wanted a cute welcome sing for the Chi wedding so I just used the same chalk marker as the other Seating Chart sign and had my cousin write this on there. So easy and washable! This mirror is back on our mantle now. :)
