And I'm obsessed. PS this is my first Beauty post and a now a NEW category on my homepage! Let me know what else you guys want me to write about. :)
My mom, aunt, and cousin have been going to this eyebrow magician, Lucy, at a salon by my house for a while now for eyebrow tinting but I always still decided to pencil my eyebrows in. I didn't think I "needed" it therefore I didn't want to pay for it. Although... I decided to try it out and I think I need to go to rehab for eyebrow tinting. I LOVE IT! They say it stays 3-5 weeks although I feel like mine lasted only 1-2 (I prefer it dark so that's why I say 1-2 weeks.) The reasons I love it is because I don't have to worry about rubbing off the powder when I do it myself, and I literally wake up with perfect eyebrows too. It saves so much time and wait until I tell you the price.... I only paid $10 for a tinting. Some people pay $18 to wax and tint, but I barely have any hair that I didn't care for the wax.
I like her to tint above the inner corner of my eye also since I don't have any hair there but that doesn't stay on for more than 2 days. I did try to go to another salon downtown (Cowshed Spa) because I wanted to get it done before Punta Cana but it wasn't the same. It didn't dye my skin which is why I liked going to Lucy because when it dyes your skin it makes it look more filled in. So it definitely matters where you go and what you like.
BEFORE AND AFTER
If you live in the Chicago suburbs let me know if you're curious of the place that I went to.
(PS I'm getting my eyebrows microbladed this Saturday (here's that post) which is a sort of tattoo that lasts 1-2 years. I'm so excited and I can't wait to have filled in eyebrows 24/7 and not having to fill them in! They tattoo on hair strokes one by one to make it look so natural. Here's an example video of how it works- I'll definitely write a post of the process once I go!)
Here's a pic of them tinted. (I feel so brave for posting a no makeup photo)
IF YOU'RE STILL HESITANT TO TRY TINTING, BELOW ARE SOME GREAT EYEBROW PENCILS AND POWDERS. (WHEN I HAVEN'T TINTED- I USE ANASTASIA POWDER)
