This weekend was a blast! My friend (who also just asked me to be in her wedding next April, woo) is a part of the Ravinia Festival Board so she invited Colin and I to their annual charity event downtown. It was at the Radisson Blu and I honestly felt like I was going to a wedding... black tie wedding. Everyone was in a bow tie basically (except Colin haha) and we felt so adult like to be going to this.. haha. The food was amazing and the band was Maggie Speaks which apparently everyone wants her for their weddings. The next day was mothers day and we spent the whole day grilling and hanging out. I got my mom this sweater since she's also so cold at work and she wanted some more cardigans to wear there.

Now the outfit....a trench is so needed for the spring because it's still a little chilly and constantly raining. Yesterday we had a crazy thunderstorm in the morning that this jacket was much needed. Paired with my new Windsor jeans and some white sneaks that I bought off Poshmark! That app is addicting.
