I’ve just entered into my second trimester, and there’s already so many things to think about as an expecting parent– and it seems like everyone has an opinion about it. One of the baby products on our list that I researched the entire internet for was a high chair. I know it’ll be a few months before we use it with the baby, but I wanted to get as much as possible ready before the baby comes. I know things will get wild 🤪. Plus, I’ve been building my registry for like 5 years hahah I wanted something that was safe, easy to clean (from what I’ve seen, meals with babies get… messy) and looked good in our newly renovated home. I’ve had so much fun designing our *dream* home and wanted a high chair that looked modern + chic enough to match our decor. Besides, having a baby shouldn’t mean you have to settle for ugly, neon colored things (and wow, they’ve come a long way with baby products since I was little haha)! We found a few different high chairs online, but The Chair by Lalo ended up being the best fit for us!
First off, The Chair is made from non-toxic materials which was of course super important to me. It also has a 5-point safety harness which was also important to make sure my baby is secure. The Chair comes in 5 tasteful colors, but I end up choosing the white (they call it Coconut—so cute!). I also love the look of beech wood for the legs. Obsessed is an understatement! It looks so good in our home. I haven’t decided if I’ll use it in the dining room or kitchen yet, but I love how I can use it as a standalone or remove the tray and pull it up to the table. My favorite part? When our baby grows out of the high chair, it converts into a play chair that matches the cute Lalo play table! That’ll save us time and energy trying to find us a play set that’s safe and will match our style. We obviously haven’t gotten to use it yet, but from the reviews and articles I read about it, Lalo’s high chair is super easy to clean thanks to its smooth surfaces and machine washable accessories. Win/win!
